|
| "The ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy one of the most beautiful corners of Scotland" | |
At Blacklee Square Self Catering Accommodation we have catered for disabled guests for the last eleven years. Cherry cottage has been graded Category 2 by the Scottish Tourist Board (assisted wheelchair access) and we guarantee there are no steps from the paved set down area throughout the entire ground floor. There is a minimum door width of 27 inches (69cm) throughout and all electric sockets are at accessible heights. The entrance leads in to the spacious hall which all the other rooms adjoin. |

The downstairs bedroom is a twin room with traditional beds and low level units.
The Sun lounge is ideal for disabled guests who can enjoy the numerous wild birds and the fabulous panoramic view all year round. There is ramped and railed access to the garden and Barbeque area.
The dining room has easy access. (During the winter months we make the dining room into the sitting room and the sun lounge into the dining room so that guests can enjoy the open fire.)
The kitchen is galley style and does not have a turning circle or low level work surfaces.
Quince cottage has been graded Category 3 by the Scottish Tourist Board and is suitable for the elderly and people with restricted mobility. As with Cherry cottage there are no steps from the set down area throughout the ground floor.
The kitchen is galley style and the narrow width is therefore ideal for providing support for the less able. |
